Japanese Defense Agency conceals budgets for cluster bombs

TOKYO, April 17 (Xinhua) -- The Japanese Defense Agency has been covertly spending billions of yen on cluster bombs for decades, Kyodo News said Thursday.

Japan's Air Self-defense Force (ASDF) bought 14.8 billion yen ( 117 million US dollars) worth of cluster bombs from 1987 and 2002, Kyodo said.
