Former Mozambican opposition leader urges to establish new political party

MAPUTO, April 29 (Xinhua) -- A former Mozambican opposition leader has urged to establish a new political party, local media reported Tuesday.

Raul Domingos, the former leader of the parliamentary group of Mozambique's main opposition party, Renamo, said recently that all is set for the creation of a new political party, the Maputo daily "Noticias" reported.

"People want to see a new political force to serve as a credible political alternative to the current governance of the country," Domingos said, after completing a tour of northern Mozambique.
