African leaders to host World Economic Forum in S. Africa

JOHANNESBURG, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Seven African heads of states, including South African President Thabo Mbeki and Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki, are to host the World Economic Forum (WEF)'s Africa Economic Summit focusing on action for Africa's ambitious renaissance plan in coastal city of Durban from Wednesday.

The three-day WEF meeting, which is scheduled to end on Friday, is also expected to be addressed by Joachim Chissano of Mozambique, Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, Marc Ravalomanana of Madagascar and Abdoulaye Wade of Senegal.
