Argentine president visits France

PARIS, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Argentine President Nestor Kirchner started on Tuesday evening his first visit to France during which he will meet with French President Jacques Chirac and Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin.

Accompanied by his Ministers of Finances and Foreign Affairs Roberto Lavagna and Rafael Bielsa, the Argentine president will have lunch with Raffarin and French Minister of Finances Francis Mer on Wednesday.

He will be received by Chirac on Wednesday afternoon.
