US Democratic presidential contender Kerry slightly leads Dean
WASHINGTON, July 25 (Xinhua) -- US Democratic presidential
contender John Kerry slightly led his rival Howard Dean, according to
a poll of likely voters in the New Hampshire Democratic primary.
The poll, released Friday, found that Joe Lieberman, another
Democratic presidential contender, has lost ground.
Kerry, Senator from Massachusetts, had 25 percent support,
compared to 19 percent of former Vermont Governor Dean. Last month,
Kerry held a 10-point lead over Dean.
Meanwhile, Lieberman, Senator from Connecticut, had only 6 percent
support, a drop from 11 percent in June.
