Shopping for the holidays should be about buying presents, not
worrying whether you'll become the victim of a shooting, Carol
Donaldson said while shopping this week at Dayton Mall.
"Well, number one, I don't come out anymore without my sons --
either one or the other," the Dayton woman said.
The news of recent shootings at a megachurch in Colorado Springs,
Colo., and a department store in Omaha, Neb., is prompting area
malls and shoppers to be even more vigilant this holiday shopping
season.
"If I have to go anywhere, I'm going to tell you, I'm actually
scared," Donaldson said.
Her son, Melvin Crawford, said he doesn't mind tagging along.
