This year in men's college hoops, the top five teams are all but interchangeable. Here's a quick look at the preseason top five (the list remains relatively unchanged five weeks into the season), and how they stack up.

1. North Carolina Tar Heels

Last season ended in disappointment for UNC. After leading Georgetown by as many as 11 points late in the second half of an Elite 8 matchup, the Heels capped off a 96-84 overtime loss by missing 22 of their last 23 shots.
