Professional rugby has borrowed certain things from football:
stadiums, for instance, as Wasps have done for the last decade, and
the odd catchphrase such as "a game of two halves" which was apt
enough in High Wycombe on Saturday evening. There was the briefest
outbreak of crowd trouble, too, which will demand investigation and
cautionary punishment but need not induce hysteria that the oval
