Health troubles are making it hard for this family to make ends
meet.
Medical bills and travel costs are mounting, and the family's
monthly income isn't enough to cover that and provide other
necessities.
The 39-year-old mother's cancer is back after being in remission.
Medicaid benefits don't kick in until she's paid $600 in out-of-
pocket expenses every six months, the family's caseworker said.
Right now, about half of the family's monthly income of $1,120
goes to her medical care.
The woman's 41-year-old husband has seasonal employment that
dwindles when the weather is bad.
