HARRISBURG, Pa.,Dec. 18/PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, the Salvation Army and Operation Warm are providing thousands of new winter coats to low- income children in need.

As they play outside at recess or wait for the school bus, children need to be warm and safe during the winter months, said Secretary of Public Welfare Estelle B. Richman. I am pleased that we have been able to deliver the gift of warmth to so many children and their families across the state.
