Exonia's top ladies finished all-square with Teignbridge in the
EWIBA Yetton inter-club trophy clash but defeat in the extra-end saw
them lose out 70-69, with their opponents going through to the zone
final and a match with Newquay in January.
A staggered start in the home and away legs saw Teignbridge come
away from the late morning clash at Exonia with a four-shot
advantage and the extra-end already in the bag, courtesy of Mavis
Wellington.
Meanwhile, at their temporary home at Isca, the two Teignbridge
rinks got off to a cracking start and with four ends played were
already another 10 shots clear with Aileen Hodsoll leading Dorothy
Richards 13-1 (Exonia) and Chris Escott keeping in touch ...
