Aberdeen were today urged to beware of a Danish sucker punch in their UEFA Cup group clash.

Reigning Danish league champions FC Copenhagen stand between the Dons and a place in the last 32 of the tournament.

Dons legend Jim Bett was victim of a Danish raid when the Reds went down 1-0 to a late goal against BK1903 in 1991.

BK merged with Kjbenhavns Boldklub the following year to form FC Copenhagen.

Bett reckons they will adopt similar tactics to those which hit the Dons 16 years ago.
