Don't be deceived by appearances. Tara Diveley is inching closer
to her dream job. It isn't glamorous; it is hard work. Her gray T-
shirt is drenched as she stands for hours on the set of a film in the
making. She is among the 42 women and five young men from 18 states
who are learning how to make movies this month in the blazing Midwest
heat.
Last winter, she took a workshop at Stephens College taught by R.
J. Visciglia, former producer of "Touched by an Angel," and Ken
LaZebnik, dean of the School of the Performing Arts at Stephens
College. Larsen learned a lot, she said. And so did Visciglia. He was
very impressed with her people skills and her work ethic.
