Article: COOL DRY PLACE Classic `Reds' finally makes its way to DVD

Pulling off the improbable: There are few who can accomplish it ... and not many more who even attempt to do so.

Warren Beatty's been alluded to some this week, with both the release of "Man of the Year" - see review on Page 4 - and the push for a Jon Stewart presidential bid bringing back memories of Beatty's "Bulworth," the 1998 satire in which his fed-up, disillusioned politician decides to go for broke and shoot straight.

But it's another past Beatty project, one that he's also in the news for now, that more deserves our attention and admiration, for a quarter of a century later, it should be considered a classic of our era that resonates even deeper and louder.
