Mark Forney has known he wanted to run a funeral home since the
second grade. As general manager of Memorial Funeral Home, he's
realized a lifelong dream to help people at the end of life.
Second-grade career days are rarely very specific. Some kids want
to be baseball players, others want to be firefighters, and there
always seems to be a doctor in the house.
Mark Forney wanted to be a funeral director.
"When I was little, I liked the cars," Forney said of hearses.
"The cars were a big draw."
Forney, now the general manager of Memorial Funeral Home,
Crematory & Memorial Park Cemetery cracked the encyclopedia and pored
