SAN FRANCISCO - A federal judge on Friday barred Internet phone
company Vonage from adding new customers after a recent ruling that
the company violated certain patents owned by Verizon Communications.
Vonage of Holmdel, N.J., is expected to appeal the ruling in the
Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Shares of Vonage have taken a hit this year, tumbling 48 percent
amid investor concerns about the patent battle with Verizon, the No.
