EUREKA SPRINGS, Ark. - "Eureka Springs is the place where misfits fit" was a claim that amused me as I was looking at publicity about this town that stresses its acceptance of diversity.

Claiming to be one of the top 25 art destinations in the United States, it boasts that more than 250 artists working in all media are scattered throughout the area. It also emphasizes its attractions to improve visitors' health.
