The Missouri Tigers regional championship game Sunday night against Louisville at Taylor Stadium wasn't the only baseball game on the premises.

T.J. Snider, 11, of Fulton and Jake Wilson, 6, of Columbia invented a type of baseball that could be played in the batting cage behind the stands. They enlisted others to make up two teams for the game being played simultaneously along with MU's.

The game was similar to the one MU was playing - sort of. The batter would bounce a ball from home plate, simulating a hit, and run the bases. First base was the metal frame of a net inside the cage.
