Breakfast of Champagnes
1 serving (1/2 cup)
Use any granola of choice for this recipe; I opted for Back to
Nature's French Vanilla Granola (available at Whole Foods Market),
but Grape-Nuts are tasty, too. There are many different grades and
flavors of honey. I was lucky enough to have on hand a rich Italian
honey, the bounty of a friend's recent trip to Umbria. Lavender
honey pairs well with champagne grapes.
1/3 cup Greek yogurt (whole, 2 percent or nonfat)
1/4 cup champagne grapes, pulled off the stem
2 tablespoons granola
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon champagne currants*
Place yogurt in a cereal bowl. Sprinkle with champagne grapes and
