Branson millionaire Peter Herschend will serve another eight years
on the Missouri State Board of Education.
Gov. Matt Blunt reappointed Herschend, 72, to the board this
morning.
Herschend, co-founder of the Herschend Family Entertainment Corp.,
has served on the board since 1991 and is past president.
Herschend is active in Blunt's Math, Engineering, Technology and
Science initiative and said the state must continue to focus on
academic gains.
