EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(CCNMatthews - Jun 7, 2005) - BT Infonet, a
leading provider of global communications services for
multinationals, today announced the availability of a new cost-
effective, Internet-based SWIFT connectivity option for financial
institutions in remote locations. Available today in 21 countries,
BT Infonet's ISP-local loop (ISP-LL) service enables access to
SWIFT's secure IP network by leveraging a local loop between a local
Internet Service Provider and the nearest BT Infonet access point.
According to SWIFT, this option is particularly compelling for
financial institutions in countries with limited SWIFT network access
options, and can reduce total SWIFT connectivity ...
