Critical illness insurance has seen exponential growth in recent
years as people become aware of its crucial benefits. In 2000 there
was in excess of a 100 percent increase in the number of policies
sold in Canada, a pace it maintained through 2003, far exceeding the
growth pace of products like disability insurance.
