Article: Bombardier Will Deliver 47 Low-Floor Trams to the City of Dortmund, Germany

BERLIN, GERMANY--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 16, 2005) - Bombardier Transportation announced today that it has received an order from the Transport Authority of Dortmund in Germany (DSW21, Dortmunder Stadtwerke AG) for the delivery of 47 Bombardier FLEXITY Classic trams. Bombardier will be responsible for delivering the mechanical part of the trams which is valued at more than 70 million euros ($85 million US). The contract includes an option for five additional vehicles. Delivery of the 47 trams is scheduled to take place between October 2007 and August 2010.
