VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - May 5, 2006) - Far
West Mining Ltd. (TSX:FWM) is pleased to provide an update on the
drilling program currently in progress in Chile to expand the iron
oxide copper-gold (IOCG) deposit at Santo Domingo Sur and to test
other geological and geophysical targets in the Santo Domingo Area
that have yet to be drilled.
Phase IV Program
The Phase IV drilling campaign is comprised primarily of reverse
circulation (RC) drilling to test the continuity of the mineralized
manto sequences at Santo Domingo Sur with those on the adjacent Enami
property to the north where significant untested gravity and magnetic
