Dance Place's season-opening concert and 26th-anniversary
celebration Saturday was not just an evening of performances; it was
a reunion and a revival. It might as well have been held in a big
white tent, for the faithful turned out in force, spirits were
moving before they'd even found their seats and the evening's
spiritual guide, Carla Perlo -- Dance Place's founder and director
-- made sure everyone left in a state of grace.
