OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 29, 2006) - The National
Gallery of Canada Foundation is very pleased to announce an
impressive donation of $75,000 in support of the acquisition of the
9th Earl of Dalhousie Collection by the National Gallery of Canada.
Following the article of the NGC initiative by the Ottawa Citizen on
September 20th, arts enthusiasts Harvey and Louise Glatt responded
generously.
In November, the National Gallery launched a telefunding campaign,
inviting its members to support the acquisition of three of the
seventeen works of art from the 9th Earl of Dalhousie Collection.
