TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 1, 2007) - After a coast-to-
coast model search that attracted more than 1,700 entries, Vervegirl
magazine has selected six teen girls to represent the "New Faces of
Canada."
A seven-member jury chose one national winner and five regional
winners in the search designed to celebrate the diversity of Canadian
beauty. The search was made possible by sponsors Herbal Essences,
CoverGirl and Elite Model Management, in partnership with Wal-Mart
Canada.
National winner Diana Illy, of Mt. Albert in Ontario, was awarded
a one-year professional modeling contract with Elite Model
Management, while the five regional winners will have a $500 donation
