As Game 4 of the National League Division Series played out Sunday night, a full moon traced a majestic trajectory in the black sky above Busch Stadium. It began inside the great catenary curve of the famed Gateway Arch, which hovers over the skyline beyond the outfield wall, and -- as the St. Louis Cardinals closed in on a clinching victory -- moved slowly outside and above the Arch, ascending high above right field like the apex of an Albert Pujols opposite-field home run.
