Caroline Franklin is continuing her "Cookin' It Up" series at Alex
Franklin Ltd., the specialty shop on Bridge Road in Charleston.
In February, she created a flurry of easy winter dinners, which
were immediately devoured by her eager class after being retrieved
hot and fragrant from the oven and stovetop.
Voted the most popular was diced artichoke hearts, chopped
prosciutto, sun-dried tomatoes and lots of mozza-rella, which topped
a simple crescent roll crust in what Franklin called a tart, but
which also answered to pizza.
She spread the crust with a new seasoning that I was happy to see.
Fresh Italian Bouquet from Winter Park Farms is a blend of minced
basil, marjoram, oregano, rosemary, ...
