Article: Guard gets new helicopters

WASHINGTON - The replacement of West Virginia's Vietnam-vintage National Guard helicopters has begun.

The state received the first of three modern Blackhawk helicopters at the Guard's Williamstown facility last week, Sen. Robert C. Byrd, D-W.Va., announced Friday. The other two Blackhawks will be delivered next month.
