Article: RECIPE CONNECTION: Two choices for cottage cheese soup

LAST WEEK'S column that described the chef's dinner for Easter Seals didn't tell everything, so I'm continuing this week.

This isn't about food, but about another fund-raiser the River Cities Easter Seals office holds. Perhaps some of you in service and charity organizations would like to know and adopt the idea for your group.

According to River Cities director Allen Brokaw, unadorned and artificial Christmas trees are purchased in early December by individuals or groups. The trees are then fully decorated by the purchaser/sponsor.

In fact, they're almost decorated for life, because ornaments, lights, and any other baubles have to be wired on to be able to withstand transportation later on.
