"Can I have fries with that?" might not be an appropriate question for motorists to ask when they drive up for curb service at Thomas Memorial Hospital on Saturday morning, Nov. 2.

From 9 a.m. to noon, nurses will be dispensing free flu shots, not fast food, as part of the hospital's eighth annual Drive-Thru Flu Shot program, sponsored by the hospital and the Thomas Memorial Foundation.

Nurses will be on duty to administer 800 doses of vaccine on a first-come, first-serve basis to people who have chronic diseases and to those 65 and older.
