For a pitcher with League's approach to getting batters out, the grassy texture of baseball playing surfaces is a subject that's quite relevant.

The 6-foot-2, 193-pound Honolulu native throws a nasty sinker, often at speeds exceeding 90 mph, and if all goes well, opposing hitters are reduced to mashing baseballs into the dirt in front of home plate and finding themselves being thrown out at first base.
