Bob Denver doesn't know whether "Seinfeld" will be popular 40
years after the series ended. He sure didn't think "Gilligan's
Island" would be.
Denver knows all about how long a popular show's impact can last.
He still gets fan e-mail through his Web site, bobdenver.com. "One
person told me someone woke up from a coma to watch the show," he
said. "That was one of the main objects of the show. To bring people
out of comas."
Jerry Seinfeld, who starred in and co-created the sitcom named
