In more than 500 e-mails over the past two years, Gov. Bob Wise and state Development Office employee Angela Mascia-Frye discuss Italian wines, health clubs and the stress of being the governor, but they never explicitly refer to any affair.

Last week, Wise said he was "unfaithful" to his wife and family. Media reports have named Mascia-Frye as the person with whom Wise had an affair.

The e-mails released Thursday offer no graphic comments or even conclusive proof of a romantic relationship between the two.
