Phillip "Icky" Frye plans to make public some Internet instant
messages between his ex-wife and Gov. Bob Wise. They're much sexier
than the G-rated e-mails released by Wise's office last month, he
said.
Frye's lawyer hinted that the messages show that Wise abused his
position in pursuing an affair with Angela Mascia, a state
development office employee.
"Did the governor break any laws?" while romancing Mascia, lawyer
Joe Cometti said. "There might be some indications there." He said
the instant messages won't be released until he is satisfied that it
is "legally and ethically" safe to do so.
