Organizers of Kanawha City's fledgling beautification committee
are trying to catch a vibe.
Group Chairman Chuck Denham expects to launch KC-VIBE (the acronym
stands for Kanawha City Village Improvement and Beautification
Effort) at a public meeting Thursday.
The 7 p.m. organizational meeting will be held at the community
room in the Kanawha Mall and will also include a meeting of local
Neighborhood Watch groups.
Denham said he hopes Kanawha City neighbors will get together to
improve their community. "It's about more than planting flowers and
trees," he said last week. "It's about people working together to
create a village spirit."
