In choreographing "The Thistledowne Faeries," Jamie Anderson began
by doing her homework.
"The first thing I had to do was read the story over and over,"
she said. "The next thing I did was to listen to the music.
"When I listen to the music and hear the story and know the people
I'm working with - from there, it just comes to me. It sounds too
simple, doesn't it? It's a lot of work."
An original ballet, "The Thistledowne Faeries" features a story by
