While Major League Baseball fights to get its players off the
juice, its ticket prices remain pumped up. With a payroll edging
closer to $190 million, you might expect the Yankees to have the
highest average ticket price. George Steinbrenner may be guilty of
many things (including illegal campaign contributions to Richard
Nixon), but hes innocent of that charge. For the seventh straight
year, the Red Sox own baseballs highest priced average ticket,
checking in at $40.77 for a seat at Fenway. The Yanks average ticket
is $24.86, admittedly a bit of a beanball to the wallet, but still
cheaper than the Cubs ($28.45) and the Phillies ($26.08). If those
prices make the Alley Cats look like a real ...
