Article: St. Albans Renaissance to roll out 'Share The Road' bike campaign

Motorists in St. Albans will soon be seeing signs urging them to "Share The Road."

In its continuing efforts to improve the quality of life in the city, the St. Albans Renaissance Group is encouraging the use of bicycles with a new "Share The Road" campaign.

St. Albans Renaissance, in cooperation with the city, has mapped out several bike routes in town. The routes are not designated only for bicycles, but must be shared with motorists, hence the "Share The Road" theme.

The official kickoff will be Sunday, May 2 outside the St. Albans Public Library. Visitors are encouraged to bring their bicycles for a "mass Share The Road" ride, said St. Albans Renaissance volunteer ...
