BRIDGEPORT - If there ever comes a time when Steve Haskins decides
it is time to go out and find a real job, he figures a sales position
is right up his alley.
What he's selling won't matter. It could be golf clubs in Iceland
or rain suits in the Sahara. The guy will take your product and sell
it.
"I think I could show them my resume," Haskins said of any
potential employers, "and show them that I'm not somebody who is
going to quit."
Indeed, if Haskins was a quitter, he would have called it a day on
his golf career long ago.
When he was in his 20s, he set out to make a go of it on the PGA
Tour. He's 45 now and still hasn't given up the dream.
"Why would I play out here ...
