Article: New signs in South Charleston guide visitors to attractions

You've seen them in Charleston, and now South Charleston has them - new signs that point the way to local attractions.

Working with the City of Charleston's Wayfinding Commission, South Charleston donated $5,000 to have 29 signs installed at strategic points around the city, said Bob Anderson, executive director of the South Charleston Convention & Visitors Bureau. Anderson and Georgette George represented South Charleston on the commission.

"The signs are to depict our tourism, recreational and historical spots in South Charleston," Anderson said. The signs, decorated with the Capitol dome, are also being posted along Corridor G and Jefferson Road, he added.
