Article: Potomac State making second trip to JC World Series

Potomac State is making its second trip in as many years to the Junior College World Series in Grand Junction, Colo., which began over the weekend.

The Catamounts are the only team in the 10-team field that made it to the World Series for the second year in a row.

Potomac State, representing the Eastern District, beat St. Petersburg (Fla.) 12-6 Sunday night to advance to Tuesday night's game against Wallace (Ala.) State.

The Catamounts' 35-man roster features 15 former West Virginia high school standouts.
