Potomac State's run at the Junior College World Series came to a
close Wednesday night, with the Catamounts falling to St. Petersburg
15-7 in Grand Junction, Colo.
The Titans avenged their 12-6 loss to Potomac State on Sunday by
ending the Catamounts' season. Potomac State had nine errors in the
seven-inning game, leading to 13 unearned runs.
The Catamounts lost their first game of the double-elimination
series Tuesday to Wallace State 9-3.
Freshman designated hitter Bill Wooten, a former Logan standout,
led the Catamounts (33-14) with six RBIs over the three games.
