One of the most severe allergies is the peanut allergy. It can be
caused from eating, touching or even smelling peanuts or peanut
derivatives, and the reaction that occurs requires immediate medical
attention. It can often be fatal.
So, how does the parent of a child with such a life-threatening
allergy send him or her into an environment like school? One way is
to send the child to a peanut-free school, which is a school where
peanuts and peanut products are banned from the lunchroom and
classrooms.
Some people feel that having a peanut-free school isn't fair to
