IF YOU GO Red Priest performs Pirates of the Baroque in a
Charleston Chamber Music Society concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at Christ
Church United Methodist, 1221 Quarrier St. The 18th-century composer
Antonio Vivaldi created nearly 500 concertos. Do you suppose that
around No. 460 he may have thought: "I need something to punch this
up a bit, make it snappy. I know: light show!" If Vivaldi never got
around to it, the aura of rock applied to the era of Bach is just
what you get with Red Priest, which performs its show "Pirates of the
Baroque" for the Charleston Chamber Music Society, starting at 3 p.m.
