Article: Chesapeake Energy names director

Chesapeake Energy Corp. named Scott Rotruck of Morgantown as its new director of corporate development for the company's Eastern division, the company announced Wednesday.

The Eastern division office is based in Charleston.

Rotruck has served as the president and CEO of the Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce since 2002 and has been involved in West Virginia's energy industry and economic development throughout his career.

During his State of the State address last month, Gov. Joe Manchin announced the company would build its Eastern United States division office in Charleston.
