His music lingers on. More than half a century after Hank Williams
died at age 29, he and his songs live on in the popular culture. His
was a bright and troubled star, which, fueled by too much alcohol and
too many painkillers, burned itself out quickly.
Charleston Stage Company, in a co-production with the Clay Center,
will stage the bio-musical, "Hank Williams: Lost Highway" at 8 p.m.
today, Friday, Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Clay Center. ...
