So, how much laundry is that?
* CAMC laundry facility handles 8 million to 9 million pounds, or
4,500 tons, of laundry each year. That equals 642 African elephants.
s Individual items towels, sheets, surgical gowns and so on weigh
between a couple ounces to 2 pounds. * All that laundry takes 40
gallons of detergent a day.
