To celebrate National Kids Fishing Month, Fox Trot Fishing Lake
and the Cross Lanes Wal-Mart are hosting a fun-filled day of fishing
for kids and their families.
Community youngsters are invited to come out to the lake on South
Poplar Fork Road Saturday, June 23, with their fishing poles, tackle
boxes and bait and take part in the Wal-Mart Kids All-American
Fishing Derby presented by Zebco from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Every child fishing at the derby will receive a free goodie bag
full of fun items provided by the event's local and national
sponsors.
In addition to free fishing, the day will also feature beverages,
prize drawings and fun contests, including a Kids Casting Carnival.
